Where will the Yogathon take place?
The yogathon will take place in the

What is the schedule?

Where do I park? How much will it cost?
You can park in the Rosemont convention center parking lots on Street. You can also park in the lots by the CTA and walk over (free).

Are there parking vouchers for a discount?
No

Where can I stay in Chicago?
The event will be at the Hilton Chicago, 720 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Illinois and you can book a room there if you like.

Should I bring $ for anything else?
There will be vendors selling many different items.

Where does the money go that we raise?
The money goes directly to IAHV, which will then distribute the funds to either the veterans programs or teen programs or both.

Where do I mail donations that are not given online?
Do not mail cash.Please make checks payable to IAHV(International Association for Human Values). Please mail to 346 W Bristol Ct, Bloomingdale IL 60108 c/o IAHV Yogathon Chicago

What is a team & how do I create one?
Teams are comprised of yogis representing a variety of companies, schools, churches, or organizations in the Chicago Area. There are also many friends and family teams that participate, some of whom walk in memory of a veteran or to bring the programs to a particular school. Teams can range in size from two to as many as you want!

If someone joined as an individual can they join a team?
YES

If someone joined a team can they also come as an individual?
YES

Who is the team leader?
The team leader is the person who created the team. A Team Leader's role is to recruit, inspire, and motivate people to register as well as raise funds. In order to promote team participation, a Team Leader's first task is to distribute materials to all potential participants walkers as quickly as possible. After participants walkers begin to register, following up is the key to fundraising success. Here are materials that can help teams raise the most funds.

Can a team leader also come as an individual?
No, Team leaders remain with their team.

How can I keep track of who's on my team?
Team Rosters are always available on your Team Web page.

How can my team raise money and meet our goal?
Click on Fundraising tips link also:
Set up a table at your company cafeteria or lunchroom, put a notice in your church/temple bulletin, near elevators, post a company-wide memo/announcement or ask your senior management to do so, ask vendors to participate, hold a yogathon kick off breakfast/lunch/after work event to raise awareness, recruit team members and raise donations, check to see whether your company matches funds.

How can my friends find my donor page?
When you send an e-mail from your Personal page, the link to your individual fundraising Web page will automatically be included in the bottom of the e-mail. Also, on the home page of the website, friends and family can locate a participant by clicking on the "Sponsor A Friend" link. By typing in the name of the participant, they will be directed to the participant's individual fundraising Web page

How can I see who has donated and how much they have donated?
Go to the My Fundraising Page link on the site. Use your registration email and password to login. You can then view your donation report and the amounts that have been donated.

I forgot my user ID/password
User ID's and passwords are case sensitive. Click on the "Forgot your Username and/or Password" link and enter your e-mail address. You will receive an e-mail with your username and password from customersupport@iahvyogathon.com.If you still have problems, please contact us by e-mailing us at customersupport@iahvyogathon.org

Why are only the online donations showing up on my webpage?
We are receiving a lot of donations by check and have chosen to update the website once a week or once a month after a check is received.

Why are some online donations not showing up on my webpage?
If someone said they wanted to remain anonymous or did not want the amount of their donation to be shown/known, you will not see it.

Why is there a $25 minimum donation for registering for the Yogathon?
Credit card companies charge a minimum for the transaction. You can donate by check in any amount by writing it to : IAHV Yogathon Chicago and mailing it to IAHV treasurer: 346 W Bristol Ct, Bloomingdale IL 60108 c/o IAHV Yogathon

What are the system requirements for making a donation and setting up a personal webpage?
We recommend Internet explorer 7 for the best donation transaction navigation. You can download the most recent version by clicking here. It's free.
